NEW DELHI August 31, 2025.

The highly anticipated Japanese anime festival in India, Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! 2025, is back this September, promising to be bigger, brighter, and more immersive than ever. Following its record-breaking 2024 debut that attracted nearly 50,000 anime fans in Delhi, this year’s edition will be held on September 13 - 14, 2025, at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, as the flagship event of Japan Month 2025.

The festival will feature double the anime titles, cosplay competitions, Japanese food stalls, and live performances, making it India’s biggest Japanese pop culture festival. Organized by the Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! Executive Committee and supported by the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi, JETRO, JCCII and many other Japanese Organizations, the event goes beyond anime—it’s a full cultural showcase designed to connect with India’s vibrant youth and strengthen Japan-India cultural ties.
